Julie Phillips B.A.R.M, Dip Oriental Healing and Shiatsu, Cert IV Training.
I’ve always had a passion of understanding the medicinal nature of food. This leads me on a continuous and fascinating journey of discovery. Primarily my studies have been in Chinese and Oriental Medicine, Macrobiotics, Food as Medicine, Whole Food Nutrition, Chinese Food Therapy, Shiatsu Massage, Chinese Paediatric Massage, Kinesiology and Dynamic Healing. Personal consultations cover a combination of these disciplines.
The Wise Food Seminar is an in-depth program covering the wide and varied issues of feeding babies and toddlers.
In addition to continuing my passion for learning about food, I am the Advanced Food as Medicine Lecturer at the Qld College of Oriental Medicine, volunteer as the Brisbane chapter leader for the International Weston A. Price non-profit nutritional organisation, the Qld board member for the non-profit group Nourishing Australia, the Brisbane coordinator for the non-profit Traditional Foods Network, write for several health and parenting magazines and guest lecture for various residential retreats.
